New York City’s oldest coffee company needed to pivot from wholesale supply to retail amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The client’s existing retail line of roasts ranging from the classic New York cup of Joe to dark Brazilian and Italian blends was already available in grocery stores, but the company recognized the need to sell online.


As copywriter and the agency’s resident coffee addict, I was responsible for writing ad headlines and digital ad copy. I collaborated with the agency’s lead graphic designer, Harley Lake, who brought the copy to life.


While the client provided different imagery, “The Coffee that Built New York” was ultimately selected to appear in the digital campaign.
